A current sophomore at Crofton House School, Yasmin is honoured to be serving as the Communications, Editorial, and Marketing Director at TEDxYouth@ArbutusRidge. Since high school, Yasmin has been exploring public speaking herself and refining her communication skills. Whether that be through serving as a staff member at various Model United Nations conferences or hosting live interviews with various industry-leading entrepreneurs, CEOs, and founders for her platform, Changemakers. At this branch of TEDx, Yasmin hopes to engage novice and experienced speakers alike to listen, explore, and learn from others. Outside of her academic endeavours, Yasmin can be found exploring travel websites, binge-reading her favourite books, and cafe-hopping around Vancouver. As the upcoming TEDxYouth@ArbutusRidge event draws near, Yasmin awaits an evening of passionate speech and the sharing of meaningful ideas.
